Hot Blue Bear started in 2020 because the shirt we wanted didn't exist. Pride merch was everywhere but merch that actually spoke to the diversity of the gay community - the leathermen, the bears, the pups, the cruisers - wasn't.

So we made it ourselves. Every design comes from us, a small two-person team based in Barcelona. We print on demand, one shirt at a time, because we'd rather make exactly what you want than guess at what might sell.

We're not here to make fetish culture palatable or apologize for what turns people on. This is a brand for people who are done doing that. If a design makes you laugh, makes you a little turned on, or makes you feel like someone finally gets it, that's the whole point.

Who's behind Hot Blue Bear? Two bears from Barcelona. We're out, proud and filthy-minded, but we keep our faces off the internet. Not out of shame, but because the people we love most deserve to be protected from judgment for choices that are ours, not theirs. If you've ever kept part of your life on a need-to-know basis, you get it. It's the same reason every order ships in plain, unbranded packaging. Your secrets are safe with us. So are ours.
